As part of growing my experience in mapping, I designed this schematic bus map of Cirencester, a town in Gloucestershire with a surprisingly sparse bus network. Unlike traditional geographic maps, this schematic approach prioritises clarity, making routes easier to interpret at a glance.
The design simplifies the network with each route being colour coded, and also shows connections to Britain's rail network.
This project demonstrates my ability to translate real-world transport systems into an intuitive visual format, making public transport information more accessible to both locals and visitors.

The map is based upon a sheet of A4 sized paper, allowing for easy printing for quick reference. In the PDF version, the routes and operators list also link to the timetables and operators' websites when you tap on them.

The PDF version of the map is available here.
This map was correct as of March 2025, however is subject to alteration at short notice. Please check with the service operators for the most up to date information.
